Action Combat meets Tabletop Depth with a 2D twist!

Platformer movement with D20 mechanics, meaning every attack is calculated by luck of a dice roll. This is a watered down version for simplicity.

Key Features

D20 Combat System

  • Attribute Scaling: Damage output scales  based on player attributes, allowing for weak hits or max damage output.
  • Roll Damage Explained: The system will roll damage based on the frame of the animation, for enemies its easy since its all a variable, but for the player I chose to hard code it mainly because you may use a more robust animation then necessary.
  • Simple Health System: Simple progress bar to show the amount of health the player has, uses the health component to update the max/current value
  • Respawn Menu: (not implemented in) once you die, then it will just reload the scene, but can be changed in code.
